Our animated music video Poperratic: Zero Hero has become an official selection of the Klein Film Festival. Poperratic: Zero Hero Nominated for Award at Newark International Film Festival
Poperratic’s Zero Hero has been recognized again with a nomination at the Newark International Film Festival. The festival began on September 2nd and concludes on September 7th. Organizers confirmed that the film short was one of over 2,000 submissions from 85 countries. Located just 15 minutes from NYC (and in the birthplace of a little invention called celluloid film), NIFF is one of the fastest-growing film festivals in the Northeast and is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Poperratic: Zero Hero is Official Selection of London’s 30th Annual Portobello Festival
“Zero Hero” has been selected by the Portobello Film & Art Festival in London! This large festival runs from August 28th through September 21st, and the “Zero Hero” screening will take place at London’s Muse Gallery on Saturday, August 30th. Zero Hero Wins EDMFF “Best Music Video” and Audience Award
Poperratic’s new animated music video has won “Best Music Video” and an Audience Award from the Experimental, Dance, and Music Film Festival, which runs out of Toronto and Los Angeles. There were a total of 8 winners out of 400 submissions!

“Zero Hero” Wins Honorable Mention at East Village New York Film Festival
Poperratic’s “Zero Hero” has been awarded Honorable Mention for Best Music Video by the East Village New York Film Festival! Many thanks to the jury for recognizing the work. The festival is run by FRIGID NY, a non-profit theater company. Screenings are held at Under St. Marks Theatre—since the 1970s, USMT has been a popular off-Broadway venue on NYC’s Lower East Side. “Zero Hero” was directed and animated by Jammes Luckett for the Poperratic song, which was created for its 25th anniversary (the song was first written and recorded in 2000). Zero Hero Music Video Selected by Trenton Film Festival ‘Art All Night’ Event
“Zero Hero” has been selected for Art All Night – Trenton Film Festival, held June 28-29, at the War Memorial Theatre on Memorial Drive in downtown Trenton, NJ. A celebration of creativity from Trenton’s Art Center (Artworks), it’s a free 24-hour event, drawing 30k attendees each year.

Poperratic’s “Zero Hero” has just been announced as a nominee with promotion to Finalist for “Best Music Video” by the East Village New York Film Festival. The festival is run by FRIGID NY, a non-profit theatre company. Screenings are held at Under St. Marks Theatre—since the 1970s, USMT has been a popular off-Broadway venue on NYC’s Lower East Side. This is the second Art Mechanix production to earn an award nomination in the past six months.

Today, the trailer for the new animated music video for Poperratic’s “Zero Hero” was released online. The song is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and remains one of Poperratic’s most popular songs. The production was directed by Jammes Luckett and is currently making the rounds on the film festival circuit.

First ARMX Short INVITATION is Winter 2024 AltFF Award Nominee
INVITATION, a short film written and directed by Jammes Luckett, has been nominated for Best Mystery/Suspense/Thriller in its category by the AltFF Alternative Film Festival for Winter 2024. AltFF is an IMDb-qualifying festival based in Toronto, Canada. The film marks the first narrative film produced by Art Mechanix. Luckett produced the film along with Brenden J. McVeigh of Diner Dan Productions. As of this writing, the film is currently still in festival circulation and will be released online at a later date.
